Son of a...

I'm bummed. Completely, totally and utterly bummed. It's been a loooong pheasant season since I've been waiting for the range at Silver Springs to reopen. Since I'm working now (running my own business) I can only make it out on a weekend.

Pheasant season is over and the range is open. So why am I bummed? My Trius 1-Step, the thrower I've been raving about and seen more and more at the range...broke. Broke! A bad weld where the pivot for the throwing arm attached to the frame...broke. Here's one better, it's less than a month out of warranty for material and workmanship defects. (I received it as a Christmas gift from my wife.)

Yep, I sent an email to Lyman expressing my displeasure. So much for solid construction. Well...before I complain too much, let's see if they're willing to do the right thing. I'm expecting I'm going to have to try and fix it myself. Maybe I'll have good news for the blog.

Remember, gun control means hitting what you're aiming at.
